The Munich Network for IT and Media recently organized an event called "Content Bizz: Weblogs and Business models".
Among the referents some of the usual suspects of twoday.net, blogg.de etc. Meanwhile we are getting again familiar with the Next Edition of the Post-New-Economy-Blabla regarding "that hype with this social software phaenomenon", doesn´t matter if its again Venture Capital-powered or not: there has to be some kind of money in it, goddamit. This time it´s about "Holiday Blogging" or "touristic blogging", a combination of recreation and blogging, viral marketing, hypothetic business cases etc. Please cut the crap.
The presentation was called "A Short Introduction into the World of Touristic Blogging". I don't want to sound condescending, but this is the dumbest idea on earth I´ve ever heard of. And I heard a lot. Next exit junk yard. I´m getting grumpy.
Read the complete review of this event by the journalist Dieter M. Mayer. Sorry, its in german, so you have to use one the online translation services.
