Bauer-Griffin, the Hollywood-based celebrity photo agency, has choosen Orphea for publishing and selling their photo archives online. Orphea is a Digital Asset Management Solution from Algoba Systems.
Although Orphea is already used by Sipa Press, Gamma Presse Images, Studio X, Redux Pictures, R.E.A. Photo Agency, AKG-images and other photo agencies, it is still - like Algoba itself - widely unrenowned in the picture business.
Algoba was founded in 1997 and is located in Paris, France. Designed to operate on Oracle, Orphea Studio works cross-platform with a client-server/internet architecture and offers a complete line of specific modules for the management of digital pictures, videos, sounds and PDF as well as managing orders, clients contacts, publication management, follow-up of online orders, billing, invoicing, calculation of royalties and document input/output.
