A story from the Kerala News (for those not familiar with the geography: Kerala is a state in the southwest of India):
Industry Minister P K Kunhalikutty said in the Assembly on Thursday that a few companies and individuals had abandoned their plans to set up IT companies in the State solely because the Government could not give them an assurance on a strike-free environment.

Kunhalikutty said several major companies like Infosys, Wipro, Alamy Images India, Ernst and Young Middle East Technologies and Alliance Cornhill were pressing the Government to provide them an industry-friendly atmosphere in which they could function round-the-clock on seven days.(Link)
