Hidden Gems – Photo District News, November 2004.

November’s issue of PDN (pdnonline.com) features a great article about “stock libraries and agencies unearth[ing] their surprising best-selling photographs of the past 12 months”. This image from photographer Keith Neale with Masterfile Corporation “produced over $30,000 in gross sales in the past year”. The image sold over 60 times in 14 countries. For this article, writers Jay DeFoore, Reuel Golden, Holly Stuart Hughes, Heather Jacobs, Anthony LaSala and David Walker interviewed 15 agencies including: Millenium Images, Corbis, Workbookstock

Jupitermedia Announces Acquisition of Hemera Technologies Inc. For Its JupiterImages Division

Very old news for some of you but I thought I would report it anyway:  Jupiter acquires Hemera.
Jupitermedia Corporation announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary JupiterImages Corporation has acquired all of the shares of Hemera Technologies Inc. for approximately U.S. $7.3 million in cash. Hemera Technologies is based in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada.
