- The Photoshop Blog runs an interview with Yotophoto-Founder Mark Thomson: "As for my inspiration, I'd say that the philosophy and ideals behind the Creative Commons movement have been a real eye opener for me. I think it's going to have an enormously positive impact on creativity both on and off the web ... our goal will probably always be quality over quantity ... We hand pick all the sites based on a couple of factors. The major considerations being the overall image quality, the number of images on the site and how well the images are captioned or "keyworded" ... Another thing we are looking at is indexing foreign language image sites, and allowing for on-the-fly translations during the search." Yotophoto also offers a Yotophoto Firefox search plugin.
- ScreenVlog -- quoting Ars Technica -- expects to see an Apple Video iPod before Christmas: "I have reason to believe that Apple is currently working on a video iPod to counter the Sony PSP. (My guess is that we might even see it in time for Christmas.) When the video iPod hits the streets, Apple will have an iPod product that plays each of the media formats (music, pictures, video) represented in its iLife suite."
