After the Yahoo emailgroups for Stockphoto, Alamy/Contributors, AlamyPro, Stock Artists Alliance, Fashion Mode, etc., a new group is "Micropayment":
This group is specifically set up for the discussion of ALL the so-called "Micropayment" stock photography agencies, including Shutterstock, iStock, Bigstock, 123 Royalty Free, and others.
It is primarily intended as a resource for submitting photographers to these agencies - compare notes, discuss earnings potential and anything else that comes to mind. Agency managers and staff are of course also very welcome to join.
The group was founded August 16, 2005, and has already 125 members. My prediction is that this might become the fastest growing Stock Photo-related Yahoo group ever.
Another relatively new micropayment site is Fotolia (see also the Fotolia blog).
By the way, the old Editorialphoto group is discontinued in its former mode since January 2005 and exists only as a non-postable archive. To enter the new group, register here.
