New Stock Photo News Search Engine Online
Paul Melcher is introducing his new Stock Photo News Search Engine (Beta) which allows the search over qualified and at first sight hand-selected sources reporting about the small stock photo industry, similar to the concept of the Yahoo Directory.
Though technically obviously easy to develope (to my understanding it works similar to the HTML text of the search button on this page, but searches more sources), the huge advantage over a normal Google search request is that the search engine is "avoiding the “noise” of the internet" by excluding non-qualifying websites, spam blogs, etc.
At first sight and after a few quick searches, a very good idea.

I gave just a look at Paul Melcher website and among the other things I don't agree with Paul it is when he says that editorial photographers are not worried about microstock agencies which sell pictures at a dollar each because nobody is going to Iraq and sell this pictures for that kind of price. Well I'm sorry to say that Paul is wrong once again because vey few magazines publish pictures of Iraq war, while is true that a lot of women magazines publish a lot of pictures that can pay one dollar. This is the bleak thruth!
