- Attributor Launches Service to Track Copyright Infringement Across the Web:
Every media company on the planet knows that its articles, songs, photos, and videos are being copied and spread willy-nilly across the Web, but they don’t have a clue what to do about it. [...] A startup called Attributor says it can monitor the Web for copied content no matter where it may be, help publishers and media companies track it all, and help them decide what to do about it. [...]
The enterprise version of its service launches today, although it has been testing it with Reuters and with AP for about six months.

Corporate executives faced with numbers like that tend to stop looking at the broader view. They won´t consider what they might be doing to revenue "down the road." They need to produce results for the stockholders right bloody now. Situations like that tend to make executives consider "vision" as a luxury that can wait until tomorrow.
The problem is that their tomorrow is only as bright as that of their contributors. Will Getty´s shooters continue to ride what has become a very leaky boat?
