- Flickr Co-founders Join Mass Exodus From Yahoo + more news soon:
Fake officially left last Friday. Butterfield will leave on July 12. From what we hear, neither has imminent plans to work on any new projects, but I suspect we haven´t heard the last from either of them. Yahoo purchased Flickr for $35 million in March of 2005. In June 2007 Yahoo shutdown Yahoo Photos, making Flickr their exclusive photo sharing website. Today Flickr hosts over 2 billion images.
Photrade is open for business: Share. Protect. Get Paid.
Our mission is to help photographers share, protect and make money from their photos online. We work with a lot of photographers who want to build community, sell their images online. We are trying to create a marketplace where they can do that safely. Sell prints, merchandise or stock and earn through our patent-pending Picture-in-Picture Adcosystem.
Photrade offers free protection of photos online and custom text watermarking to ensure credit/attribution when images are shared online and to protect photos from being misused.
