New Adobe Stock Photos Service Now Available

Search and Purchase From More Than 230,000 Royalty-Free Images From Top Stock Photography Libraries Directly Within Adobe Creative Suite 2 Software Products

PicScout and Digimarc Partner to Enhance Image Tracking

Combined Offering to Deliver Dramatic Improvements in Image Monitoring on the Internet

HERZELIYA, ISRAEL and BEAVERTON, OR, Apr 27, 2005. PicScout Ltd. and Digimarc Corp. (NasdaqNM:DMRCE - News) announced today a new partnership combining image recognition and watermarking for online image protection and monitoring. As part of the partnership, Digimarc will begin using the PicScout Internet crawling technology to power the Digimarc ImageBridge MarcSpider search. The companies have also started a joint development project that is expected to be completed in the next six months to enhance Digimarc ImageBridge with PicScout's image recognition technology. The joint development will be funded in part by the BIRD foundation (www.birdf.com), which is an Israel - U.S. government foundation whose mission is to promote and support industrial R&D between Israeli and U.S. companies.

OpenRAW Web Site Launched; Confronts Issues Crucial to Quality Digital Photography and Archiving of Photographic Images

April 25, 2005. The OpenRAW Working Group launched a website today at http://www.OpenRAW.org designed to solve issues crucial to the future of photography.

Digital technology is revolutionizing the photography industry, and an emerging part of that technology is the set of RAW camera file formats. Most professional photographers prefer using RAW image capture because it offers the highest quality and the greatest creative control.

The grass roots OpenRAW group arose out of photographers' frustration with camera manufacturers' refusal to openly document their proprietary RAW file formats. That lack of file format information inhibits innovation, limits image processing choices, and endangers the long-term accessibility of millions of photographs. The goal of the new website is to obtain complete documentation by manufacturers of their RAW file formats.

Getty Images Reports Record Financial Results for the First Quarter of 2005

Record Revenue and Powerful Business Model Drive 30 Percent Operating Margin; Announces Immediately Accretive Acquisition of Digital Vision

SEATTLE --April 20, 2005 -- Getty Images, Inc. (NYSE:GYI), the world's leading imagery company, today reported results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2005. The company also announced today the all-cash acquisition of Digital Vision for $165 million.

For the first quarter, revenue grew 13.8 percent to $178.1 million, compared to $156.5 million in the first quarter of 2004. Excluding the effects of changes in currency exchange rates, revenue grew 11.1 percent. Operating income for the first quarter of 2005 grew 24.7 percent to $53.5 million, or 30.1 percent of revenue, compared to $42.9 million, or 27.4 percent of revenue, in the same quarter last year.

Net income grew 30.8 percent to $34.1 million from $26.1 million the prior year. Earnings per diluted share grew 25.6 percent to $0.54 from $0.43 the prior year.
