Tim Graham’s collection of 30 years of the best royal photography to be available exclusively at the Getty Images Hulton Archive
London, UK, Oct. 31, 2007. Getty Images has acquired one of the world’s premier collections of imagery depicting the British Royal Family over the last 30 years, taken by widely respected Royal photographer, Tim Graham. This unique collection, which spans four generations of the Royal Family, contains over 200,000 images and features some of the most significant royal moments of the modern age. It will be housed at Getty Images’ Hulton Archive in London.
Tim Graham has been photographing the Royals for over 30 years, during which time he has captured them informally at home, on duty overseas and at the official events that mark the royal year.

Atlanta, GA, Oct. 30, 2007. Since Imagestate went into bankruptcy in 2006 and was then purchased by Sheldon Marshall and Heritage Image Partners Ltd., contributor complaints have mounted. The Stock Artists Alliance (SAA) has now learned the company is scheduled for "dissolution" on January 12, 2008. With just a few months until operations shut down, the situation has become critical for many contributors. What will happen to long overdue royalties from licenses made since the bankruptcy filing? What will happen to the many thousands of their original images the company still holds?

Paris, Oct. 29, 2007. Starting tomorrow, Paris will be home to
the first ever city-wide biennial of contemporary photography from Africa,
Asia, Oceania and the Americas. Organized by the Jean Nouvel-designed Musee
du Quai Branly and called Photoquai, the photo festival features 30
exhibitions inside museums and cultural centers, in outdoor plazas, under
bridges and along the banks of the Seine River. While focusing primarily on
contemporary artists, Photoquai will also highlight photographers who have
played key roles in the history of global photography, including the 20th-
century American master Walker Evans and select 19th-century European
photographers.
