comScore Video Metrix Report: YouTube Leads U.S. Online Video Market With 28% Market Share

Reston, VA, Nov. 30, 2007. comScore (Nasdaq: SCOR), a leader in measuring the digital world, today released its comScore Video Metrix report for September 2007, revealing that nearly 75 percent of U.S. Internet users watched a video online (including both streaming video and progressive downloads), averaging three hours of video per person during the month.

Google Sites, which includes YouTube.com, topped the September rankings with both the most unique video viewers and most videos viewed.

Keedup: Around-the-clock outsourced image research next step for new company

Keedup_kevin_townsend Newmarket, Auckland, NZ, Nov. 30, 2007. Overworked image research departments will be among the main beneficiaries of a new outsourced research service being planned by Keedup.

The New Zealand business which specialises in keywording stock and editorial images is looking to launch the 24/7 service next year.

Keedup managing director, Kevin Townsend, says there is anecdotal evidence that many photo libraries miss out on sales because their staff are swamped by research, or just aren´t around when customers need help.

New Education and Eastern European Migrant Workers Images from John Birdsall Social Issues Photo Library

Two specialist sets of images, one looking at education in three different settings and another covering Eastern European migrant workers in the UK, are now available from John Birdsall Social Issues Photo Library, the UK´s leading library for images depicting social issues.

Education - the education images cover a secondary school; a special college focused on independent living for people with learning disabilities; and a school for children with physical impairments and complex learning difficulties. The images cover the full school/college day and include various indoor and outdoor lessons and activities, as well as lunch and break times.

Scooplive, a company founded in 2006 by Matthieu Stefani, Julien Robert and Philippe Checinski, gives individuals the opportunity to sell their pictures and videos on current news, in return for a small commission and enables amateurs and professionals to sell their news documents (events, celebrities, sports, etc.) to the media worldwide.
