European Pressphoto Agency epa in i-picturemaxx

Munich, Mar. 10, 2008. Today epa European Pressphoto Agency and picturemaxx announced that epa images will be made available via the i-picturemaxx platform. The news photo agency will use the advantage  of the i-picturemaxx platform in the US and in France as an additional tool to distribute its content.

“We are very happy to widen epa’s distribution channels via the i-picturemaxx as it offers our clients an additional way to easily access epa images”, so Sandra Boerma, epa’s Director International Sales.

Since two years epa is already using picturemaxx technology, the existing system will be extended by the i-picturemaxx functionality.

“This is an important step in our co-operation with epa.”, said Bernd Czichon, CEO picturemaxx AG, “With epa images, as one of leading news photo agencies, and its unique content we extend the value of the i-picturemaxx for our more and more international users considerably.”

epa will contribute a daily average of 850 images to the i-picturemaxx system. The customer service for epa images will be taken care of by epa’s experienced customer services department.
