Northfoto Signs Agreement With Jupiterimages

Budapest, Hungary, Apr. 27, 2008. Northfoto www.northfoto.com, Central and Southeastern Europe’s leading distributor of visual content, announces that it has signed an agreement with Jupiterimages to represent three of its paid subscription services.

The agreement allows Northfoto to market and license Clipart.com, Comstock Complete and Jupiter Images Unlimited to editorial and creative clients in Hungary and Romania. “This is another ground-breaking move for Northfoto,” said Mark Milstein, the company’s founder and managing director. “Jupiter’s paid subscription models will now give Northfoto access to a whole new, until now not serviceable segment of the market. I am speaking specifically about the budget-conscious editorial and creative client who in past years gravitated  to microstock, but now have the chance to raise their standards by subscribing to three quality Jupiter products.”

Milstein said that he was not surprised to see a sizeable number of Northfoto’s upper-end creative clients also express interest in Jupiter. “We’re not telling them to stay away", Milstein said about the likes of Mcann and Ogilvy, as well as a number of other local creative professionals. “Both agencies showed a keen interest on behalf of some of their own clients when we told them about Jupiter’s paid subscriptions being available through Northfoto.”

With editorial clients, Milstein described, “Interest in Jupiter was near universal. Major publishing groups in the region were immediately drawn to Jupiter’s prices and quality. We are looking to sign comprehensive plans shortly.”
