Video Content Deal Delivers High Demand Celebrity Content

New York/London, Nov. 05, 2008. BBC Motion Gallery, the clip sales arm of BBC Worldwide, announced today that it has signed a deal with Lightworks Program Distribution to distribute video content from The Hollywood Reporter, a Nielsen Business Media publication. Under the deal, BBC Motion Gallery will secure access to new and archived video clip content owned by The Hollywood Reporter from movie premieres, award ceremonies and celebrity interviews to distribute to its customers worldwide.

The Hollywood Reporter archive covers an array of Hollywood news – from celebrities receiving their star on Hollywood Boulevard’s Walk of Fame, to the opening of the latest “Batman” movie, to interviews with Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

BBC Motion Gallery signs representation deal with CITVC

North Hollywood, CA, Oct. 2008. BBC Motion Gallery, the archive clips sales arm of BBC Worldwide, today announces with a strategic alliance with CITVC, the commercial arm of China Central Television (CCTV), the country’s largest national broadcaster, to represent BBC Motion Gallery sales to Chinese markets.

Chinese broadcasters and media professionals will now be able to access BBC Motion Gallery’s wealth of high quality motion imagery via a local presence in CITVC’s sales offices. Visitors to the BBC Motion Gallery website (www.bbcmotiongallery.com) from China will be greeted with a Mandarin banner on the home page directing them to the CITVC sales office for guidance and assistance in accessing BBC Motion Gallery’s wealth of high quality motion imagery.
