Kennebunk (ME)/Munich/London, Jan. 27, 2009. A career opportunity for the young and talented: StockFood is again sponsoring the “FAB Futures Award” for designers aged 30 or under, offering ambitious young professionals the chance to make a name for themselves in food marketing. The Futures Award is part of the 11th FAB Awards, an internationally recognised creative awards programme. Uniquely, this programme is entirely devoted to the food and beverage sector.
StockFood’s CEO Pete A. Eising on this great opportunity: “Professional designers and creatives from all over the world have been working with our images of food, beverage, wellbeing & styling for thirty years."
"During this time, our ever growing archive at www.stockfood.com has evolved into an important archive for marketing and advertising professionals. Our FAB Futures Award is specially aimed at those young talents who’ll be the new generation of leaders in the profession. Promoting new blood means a lot to us.“
StockFood’s FAB Futures Award is open to designers up to the age of 30. They may already be employed by an agency, working freelance or still studying. Their challenge is to create either a print or online promotion for a fictitious food or beverage brand. In the print category, entrants must use one of ten images provided by the sponsoring picture agency StockFood (www.stockfood.com/fab_futures_award), to design either a press ad, poster or packaging for the brand. In the online advertisement category – completely new for 2009 - any image can be freely chosen from StockFood’s entire food image database.
Entries for the Award must be in by 31st March 2009.
The winner of the “FAB Futures Award” can certainly look forward to a FABulous future, enjoying recognition from both international experts in the field and the media. All shortlisted entrants will be invited to attend the exclusive FAB Awards dinner. This is an exceptional career opportunity: in the exquisite surroundings of the illustrious Hurlingham Club beside London’s River Thames, the most promising young designers will have the chance to meet and network with luminaries of the food and beverage marketing world. Their work will be presented on stage and they will also benefit from introductions to top-ranking professionals. In 2009, for the first time, the winner will also have travel and hotel costs paid by StockFood.
Full details can be found at www.stockfood.com/fabaward and also at www.fabawards.com. The entry to the FAB Futures is completely free of charge.
